Emerging during the peak of the internet's lo-fi house movement, he was heavily inspired by the dusty, atmospheric, and emotive sounds of artists like Harrison BDP, COMPUTER DATA, No_4mat, Fillup Waters, DJ Planet Express, and Monolithic.

What started as late-night bedroom production quickly gained global traction. iugou caught the attention of the underground community when his tracks were featured on EELF—the definitive YouTube channel for lo-fi house curation—introducing his signature hazy basslines and nostalgic grooves to hundreds of thousands of listeners.
